Since childhood I have treated my home like a canvas, rearranging, reimagining, redecorating.
That moment made me realize I didn’t want to keep showing up after the fact; I wanted to help these small businesses succeed, so they didn't need a large corporation to take over.
I found data analysis, process improvement, and strategy to be fun.
While working in the corporate world, I enjoyed working as an M&A integration strategist. It was rewarding to make a difference for teams and clients simply by doing what came naturally. But something one of the CEOs said during an integration stuck with me: “If we’d had you on our side earlier, maybe we wouldn’t have had to sell.”
